Join panel speakers from Sulzer GTC Technology in a series of presentations, focused on introducing you to the various innovative processes developed by Sulzer GTC and its partners, to unlock the margin potential of refinery and petrochemical plants.

This virtual seminar will showcase the unique process technology solutions that Sulzer GTC offers to upgrade available feedstock to high value products that can enhance the operating margins of refinery and petrochemical plants, as well as helping to meet sustainability objectives for longer term investments.

Speakers Biography:

Sashikant Madgula, Regional Sales Manager, Sulzer GTC Technology, Singapore
Sashikant Madgula is Regional Licensing Manager for Sulzer GTC Technology based at Sulzer’s Singapore office, with responsibility for technology licensing and sales in Southeast Asia. He has diverse experience in the petrochemical and refinery industries, specializing in aromatics value chain projects, and has managed the start-up/commissioning of aromatics extraction plants at various sites. Prior to joining Sulzer GTC, Mr. Madgula worked with ICIS Consulting where he was responsible for executing several bespoke studies on refinery and aromatics markets in Asia for various clients. He holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering Practice from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Taili Charlie Chou, Licensing Director, Sulzer GTC Technology, USA
Charlie Chou is Business Segment Leader (Refining, Aromatics & Derivatives) for Sulzer GTC Technology at the company’s headquarters in Houston, Texas. He is a co-inventor of several of Sulzer GTC’s proprietary processes. Mr. Chou started his career with GTC at the company’s R&D center, and then continued as a process engineer and manager in the engineering, technology, and licensing departments. He also served as the first General Manager of GTC’s Beijing office, from 2006 to 2010. He earned his BS in Chemistry at National Taiwan University and his MS in Chemical Engineering at Montana State University.

Gary Martin, Business Segment Leader (Dividing Wall Column Technology), Sulzer GTC Technology
Gary Martin is Business Segment Leader (Dividing Wall Column Technology) for Sulzer GTC Technology, based at the company’s Irving, Texas office. Previously he was President of Process Consulting Services. His experience has included Conceptual Process Design and Process Design Packages for large capital projects, optimization, and troubleshooting services to the refining industry worldwide. Mr. Martin earned a BS degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University. He has authored more than 60 technical papers. Additionally, he has developed new licensed process technology including processes utilizing Dividing Wall Column technology.

Matthew Clingerman, Process Development Expert – Emerging Technologies, Sulzer Chemtech GTC Technology
Matthew Clingerman is Business Segment Leader (Hydrotreating) for Sulzer GTC Technology in Houston, TX. With 18 years of experience in the refining industry, Mr. Clingerman started his career at ConocoPhillips, working in technology and process development and R&D. More recently, he worked in licensing and business development roles for both DuPont Clean Technologies and KBR. His activities have included hydroprocessing, alkylation, FCC, and delayed coker technologies. Mr. Clingerman has a B.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Rahul Khandelwal, Business Segment Leader, Sulzer GTC Technology
Rahul Khandelwal is Business Segment Leader (Gas Treating/Processing) at Sulzer GTC Technology, headquartered in Houston, Texas. He started his career with Air Liquide before joining GTC Technology. With more than 14 years in the industry, Mr. Khandelwal’s experience spans from cryogenics to refinery and petrochemical technologies. He has a BS in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Sachin Joshi, Business Segment Leader - Petrochemical Technologies, Sulzer GTC Technology, USA
Sachin Joshi is Business Segment Leader (GT-Styrene, Pygas, Solvents) based at Sulzer GTC Technology’s Houston headquarters. He has a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, University of Mumbai in India. He has more than 18 years of experience in the refining and petrochemical industry with expertise in technology and process development, process engineering and process simulations. While at Sulzer GTC, Mr. Joshi has helped developed new patented technologies in aromatics production. Previously, he has worked with Lummus Technology, Ingenious Inc., Reliance Industries Ltd. (Jamnagar Refinery) and Gharda Chemicals Ltd.
