Workshop: Leading-edge Technologies And Solutions For Decarbonisation Of Refinery And Petrochemical Plants

21 October 2021 | 4pm - 630pm (SGT)

In Partnership with:

Air Liquide

The global push for decarbonisation has accelerated numerous developments in energy transition towards a sustainable energy future.

Air Liquide offers a vast portfolio of cutting-edge proprietary technologies to help Refining and Petrochemicals customers, from harnessing renewable sources of energy, to reducing or capturing and utilizing carbon emissions. This also builds on the extensive experience which has been gained over the past 117 years with global manufacturing and operational capabilities.

In this workshop, Air Liquide experts will share the latest technology solutions for low carbon hydrogen production, carbon capture and advanced biofuels available for the refining and petrochemicals industries.

Agenda:

4:00 pm - 4:05 pm:

Welcome and Introduction Dr. Jan Kollmus

4:10 pm - 4:50 pm:

Innovative H2 offerings Mirko Huebel
Air Liquide will introduce possibilities for low carbon integration to its state-of-the-art steam reforming technology (SMR), which includes SMR-X™, a product which has zero steam export and emits lower levels of CO2 prior to carbon capture.

4:50 pm - 5:45 pm:

Cost-Competitive Carbon Capture Solutions Guillaume Rodrigues
Air Liquide has a vast and comprehensive portfolio of carbon capture technologies to meet the needs of refinery and petrochemical customers. At the session, we will be introducing our Cryocap™  suite of proprietary technologies, with a specific focus on syngas and flue gas carbon capture, as well as amine wash technology. The session will also address the LCO2 (liquified carbon dioxide) value chain, including CO₂ liquefaction and transportation.

5:46 pm - 6:16 pm:

Advanced Biofuels Production - Integration of renewable feedstocks and green chemicals Paul Krimlowski
Air Liquide will share its latest technology offerings (HVO pretreatment, glycerine splitting, bio Propylene Glycol) for advanced biofuel production. These innovative technologies by Air Liquide are supporting refinery and petrochemical players to lower the carbon intensity of their facilities to produce renewable fuels and green chemicals.
