The scope of this presentation is to introduce new technologies available to coordinate operations, maintenance and safety activities to achieve operational efficiencies. Work management coincident with work permitting, incident reporting, investigations, management of change and regulatory compliance along with operating policies, procedures and shift management will be covered. The general premise is that efficiencies can be achieved and process safety can be institutionalized when business management software is configured to support operations, maintenance and safety together; versus supporting it with individual and often disconnected platforms.
