Matt Spalding is the Regional Vice President for Honeywell UOP, in this role Matt leads the Honeywell UOP business in countries spanning from Korea and Japan to Southeast Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. He is responsible for customer relationships, new project opportunities, project execution and leading UOP’s drive in the region to create flexible, future-forward and sustainable solutions that address the challenges of our everchanging world. Matt has almost 25 years of industry experience with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management from Curtin University, Perth. He has been responsible for businesses across the entire asset lifecycle in the Oil and Gas Industry from Process Technology and Licensing, Consulting, Engineering and EPC offerings, and having lived and worked in Asia for the past 20 years (including in Indonesia for 6 years with Worley, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia) brings a wealth of experience across the region with a deep understanding of the variety of cultures in the more than a dozen countries and billion people that make up this region.
