Mr Clarence Woo has been involved in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry for the past 32 years. He started his career with Mobil Oil Singapore and held numerous responsibilities within Mobil Oil. Mr Woo also worked in Ethyl Corporation as Senior Area Manager managing petroleum additive sales in Asia Pacific. Mr Woo is currently the Executive Director of Asian Clean Fuels Association that supports governments and encourages industries to pursue the use of cleaner fuels for a cleaner environment through sound science, cost effectiveness and sustainability. In China, he was successfully involved via the association in supporting the Chinese government in developing its fuel standards, as well assisting in the preparation in biofuels white paper as the country seeks to assess its biofuels mandate. He also assisted Asian governments to develop clean fuel policies and standards in line with international practices.
