Stéphane Wermester joined the Industrial Division of IFPEN in 1998 where he served as Process Engineer and Start-up Adviser. Between 2003 and 2008 he worked in the Marketing and Technology and Tech Service department as Technology Manager specialized in the field of Isomerization & Reforming. Then, he joined in 2009 Sales Department of Process Licensing as Regional Sales Manager covering various countries in Asia. In 2019 he became Sales Director covering the whole Asia Pacific Market for Process Licensing Refining and Petrochemical Business. Finally, he was promoted Commercial Vice President for APAC Region (Excluding India & China) for all Axens portfolio and businesses. He was appointed early 2022 to his current position, responsible of Asia Pacific Market (excluding China & India) for all Axens Businesses (Catalyst & Adsorbents, Process Licensing, Furnaces, and Modules for Gas, Refining, Petrochemical and Bio markets). Mr. Stéphane Wermester holds an Engineering Degree from the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Génie Chimique” (INP ENSIACET Toulouse-France) and a Master’s Degree in Refining and Petrochemicals from the IFP School.
