At present Anabel is Plastic Recycling Business Development Manager. She is based in Kuala Lumpur, and she is in charge of powering plastic circularity through advanced recycling technologies on Asia Pacific. Anabel started her professional career on field 12 years ago at Repsol Tarragona Site (Spain), first as Steam Cracker Process Engineer and afterwards as Steam Cracker Operation Engineer. In 2014 she joined Axens as Technologist, at first for Middle distillates Hydrotreatment Technology and afterwards for Heavy Ends Hydrotreatment & Conversion Technology. She was in charge of catalyst replacement technical proposals being involved in start-up, unit follow-up and unit troubleshooting. Anabel joined Axens Sales Team as Regional Sales Manager in 2021. During two years she was the sales manager leader on Catalyst and Process Licensing Market for Spain, Portugal and Turkey. Her main functions were to define sales strategy, to manage customer relationship and to coordinate sales process. Anabel holds an Engineering Degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain, a Msc in Oil Refining, Petrochemicals and Gas from Repsol Higher Training Center (CSFR), Spain and a MsC Engineering in Energy Systems and Thermal Processes from Cranfield University, UK.
