Ahmad Fauzi B M Saad MIET received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford, CT, USA, in 1996, and completed his M.Sc. at the University of Denver, CO, USA, in 2017. He has been a valued member of PETRONAS since 1997, contributing as an Electrical Engineer across various sectors within the Oil and Gas industry. His professional journey began with a construction project for a petrochemical plant, followed by roles in commissioning and operational management of a refinery. In 2004, Ahmad Fauzi transitioned to research arm where he is involved in the development of gas fields, setting industry standards, enhancing equipment reliability, and pioneering research in low heating value waste gas power generation, offshore renewables, and downhole robotics. Currently, Ahmad Fauzi holds the position of Principal Electrical at one of the technical service regional offices. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of IET. He is a registered engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, showcasing his expertise and commitment to engineering excellence.
