ADS & ARTC 2021 Virtual – Gain International Exposure & Recognition this October!

2021 marks an important year for the oil & gas industry. Despite the current downturn and uncertainty brought on by COVID-19, oil and gas companies continue to make progress toward a lower-carbon future, in line with the broader energy transition taking place across the entire energy, resources, and industrials sector.

For over 20 years, the Asian Downstream Summit (ADS) has been instrumental in providing key opportunities and a trusted learning platform for those in the refining, petrochemicals, and chemicals industry to meet with local and international technology experts to discuss the latest industry technologies and trends.

“There’s no getting away from it,” – says Tanushree Mulraj, Managing Director at World Refining Association APAC. “Oil & Gas plays a critical role in meeting global energy demand, and there is an increased pressure for companies to decarbonise operations post-pandemic.”

This year, ADS 2021 will be held in conjunction with the Asian Refining Technology Conference (ARTC), and will be held in a hybrid format – part virtual and part in-person.

“This key event will provide an opportunity to reconnect with industry peers for new business opportunities in the midst of yet another challenging year.” Says Natalie Chew, Conference Producer at World Refining Association Asia.

“During this time of restricted cross-border travel, and keeping the safety of our attendees as our top priority, the decision to host the event in this format ensures that we will continue to provide the strategic direction and thought leadership that will shape the future oil and gas landscape and connect global organisations digitally.”

The event will focus on the theme “Preparing the plants of tomorrow for a sustainable & low carbon future”, and will bring together industry influencers and experts to share their insights and first-hand experience on global refining and petrochemical market trends.

As part of the 2021 agenda, we will examine how operators can leverage off technologies to modernise and optimise their existing infrastructure, and thrive in a transitioning and evolving energy market. We will also examine the evolution of downstream supply chain, and how the trend towards new “cleaner” energy sources will impact the traditional oil and gas industry.

As always, we seek influential downstream oil & gas thought leaders to share their intelligence, technological insight and expertise to help shape the future of this industry. ADS & ARTC 2021 will provide a powerful platform for industry stakeholders to showcase thought leadership to over 2,000+ attendees from across the world, and will offer unrivalled opportunities to network and re-connect with industry peers through our cutting-edge virtual platform.

Abstract submission is due on 9 July 2021. If you haven’t already done so, please submit your abstracts to tanushree.mulraj@clarionevents.com along with supporting documents, no later than this date. For information on abstract guidelines, click here.
