Jonathan Goh Kok Chye is the Director for External Relations at the Energy Market Authority of Singapore (EMA), a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He is the Singapore Senior Official on Energy at ASEAN, APEC and G20 meetings and is a member of the ASEAN Centre for Energy Governing Council. Jonathan oversees the organisation of the annual Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), a premier global energy event. Prior to joining the EMA, Jonathan took on various roles at the Public Service Division of the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Civil Service College. He also served as First Secretary (Political) in Tokyo, Consul (Political) in Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions (SAR) and Assistant Director in Jakarta. Jonathan read economics at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, and has a Master of Science in Communication Management at Singapore Management University. He was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) (2016) and the Long Service Medal (2023).
