Keelan is a Senior Hydrogen Engineer in the Australia & New Zealand Hydrogen and CCUS team. Keelan has 2 years' experience focusing on technoeconomic and environmental analysis of hydrogen systems. He has recent experience working on electrolyser compliance and technical due diligence studies. Additional key experience includes electrolyser vendor due diligence, hydrogen strategy advisory and hydrogen red flag review assessments. Prior to working at DNV, Keelan was a research fellow at the University of Western Australia. Here, he was primarily involved in designing a web app which was capable of modelling the design, costs and emissions of hydrogen supply chains. He worked on dynamic temporal modelling of green hydrogen systems powered by solar and wind, analysing the costs and strategies necessary to ensure reliable hydrogen supply. Other key projects include modelling ortho/para hydrogen conversion in liquefaction units. Keelan previously worked with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) during both his PhD research, as well as in industry for the research and development of NMR logging instruments for groundwater analysis.
