Ryoichi Abe has been Chief Representative of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) in Singapore since January 2021. JBIC Singapore covers Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan as direct coverage while the office functions as regional headquarters for APAC. He joined the bank in 2002 and has served in a range of leadership roles. Previous responsibilities have included power and water, LNG/ petrochemicals and infrastructure.
